So, you’ve been told that certain fish oils are good for you.
They help with inflammation, heart issues, stress, and other complications.

Have you ever wondered just how this fish and krill oil work?
We hear and read about the two active oils that are really important: EPA and DHA. Okay, great. They are good for you, but how do they act?

They work on the same system as Cannabidiol (CBD)…
the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).

In a nutshell, CBD works by reducing the amount of two enzymes that are created in excess when your body has large amounts of stress: FAAH and MAGL. These enzymes work to destroy...

“MERRY CHRISTMAS, GOD”

This morning, I awoke and remember saying “Merry Christmas, God!”.

Now, I have given a morning-greeting many times to God, but this
utterance was different and the surprise welled-up within me.

Can God help me formulate at times? Sure. I thought of how, only a few
times, I did pray for any ideas for the blog in whatever-form an inspiration may come. I think it grand whenever a topic arrives uniquely/unexpectedly.

So … what do you think of the “happy holidays” moniker?

People say it to include the New Years Eve, along with every
other recognition of holiday in the months of December/January.
{I wonder right now if anybody says it even before November’s
Thanksgiving; I think that would not be common and seem ‘off’}

Lumped together in that way, I can understand the “happy holidays”
usage … but it is not something I employ. It is not like I prepared to not
use it, just that it never...

[GUEST] DEMISE OF “SKYWALKER” (THE AFTERMATH)

It’s me again, having one more bit on the “Star Wars” ‘phenomena’.

The “Rise Of Skywalker”‘s official release is to be today, the 20th
of December. It’s the third of the Disney-fied “Star Wars” films and
the closure to the 9-film saga that confusingly started with episode
four in 1977. The prequel trilogy came during the 1990s (I didn’t see
any of them) and the “Skywalker” trilogy began in 2015.

I’ve been watching a bunch of videos from “YouTube” that
dealt with a pre-screening or two in the United Kingdom.

Ultimately …

SUCKS.jpg

It’s been receiving terrible ratings from many. Due to what
I’ve seen, I have even less interest in the movie and decided
that I actually will not be borrowing it whenever it comes to the
library (although I wrote before that I would). That second one of
the final trilogy was dull and there are enough reviews to have
convinced me that the final one (until...

[GUEST] MORE ABOUT NOT CARING OF “STAR WARS”

I wrote the other page about the upcoming SW film
(https://mindmadeup.svbtle.com/guest-who-cares-about-the-next-star-wars) and I have other stuff to say about the SW “phenomena” in general.

Borrowed recently was “Star Wars: THE LAST JEDI” (episode 8) from a
library. Why? It was only because I purchased (cheaply) the previous
episode of “THE FORCE AWAKENS” out of curiosity. Also, it’s always
good to know of times when you don’t pay anything for a dull movie.

As a kid, I liked the original SW movies, but not extremely. One of my brothers did collect the action figures. With me, there was no interest in
the toys, comics, or whatever. However, I did find a bunch of old trading-
cards in a shoebox from history. Were they mine originally? The box had
my name on it and so I figure they might have been copies of some
that a brother had. Maybe I can get a few buckeroos for them?

I hated this...

NEW LABEL-BOLLOCKS: Gaming Disorder

Oh, I had a chuckle on an 18th September, 2019 finding.

I learned then of how we have a new “Gaming Disorder”.
It is not known if it will be in any DSM update, but was added
to the World Health Organization’s ICD {International Classification
of Diseases}.

Completely ridiculous. It is a habit, not an illness/disorder,
and I bet that you intellectually know that. It peeves me
big-time that someone can be starting to freak-out over
suddenly thinking there is something wrong with them; after
all, if there is now something in a “professional” manual used
by doctors, it must be true!

It is like the psychs/whomever are trying to make
perfect people. Nobody is allowed to simply be a
certain way. It makes sense to me that people
are becoming more “mentally ill” because new labels
are determined. This is one example, right? Expanding on
that, I think that creations like this cause people to be...

[GUEST] POEMoment

there once was a fraud psych MD
who caught germs of mental disease –
which had infected a train
and, without causing pain,
allowed humans to catch it with ease.

patients then stopped seeing him more
(‘cause they knew an ill mind can’t be cured).
wanting his practice to thrive,
new DSM updates kept it alive –
fooling the public, which grew more unsure.

(found this on September 4, 2019 in an old 1940s book of doctor jokes compiled by a doctor of some kind; the 1st part was changed a lil’ by me today and the rest made 9th/10th ‘n thought is was okay to submit)

DEE COMMENTS: absolutely grand; thanks

February 15th, 2020 UPDATE: I read a page here where I liked the idea of seeing us as patients and not “clients” of psychiatry. I changed “people” to “patients”. Also, I wanted “his” (ill mind) to now be “an” (making it clearer that I think psychiatry is terrible by teaching that whatever...

POO AND PUKE

This is just a very-tiny entry here, presenting a
scan of fake excretions which I wish I had left
in the halls of the recent place-of-disgrace.

FPP.jpg

Sometimes, one could find the real things. Thus, even though I did not have these props back then, others unknowingly accomplished the more-aromatic task for me. If it still occurs there today, well, I thank you; the place deserves it from their bad-behaviour and as a symbol of what their ways resemble.

FAVE PHRASES #2

ENGLISH PROVERB: “God is where God was.”

Megan Wildhood {www.meganwildhood.com}; writer at “Mad In America”:
“Psychiatry has turned out to be the practice of using someone’s
suffering against them for profit.”

Noam Chomsky: "Everyone’s worried about stopping terrorism. Well, there’s really an easy way: stop participating in it.” {PEOPLE, FEEL FREE TO STOP
PARTICIPATING IN PSYCHIATRY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE}

Jiddu Krishnamurti: "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” {I WAS BECOMING TOO-ADJUSTED – NEVER
WELL – TO THE SICKNESSES IN THE “BEHAVIOURAL HEALTH” SPOTS}

President Thomas Jefferson:

“When injustice {tyranny} becomes law, resistance {rebellion} becomes
duty.” {POSSIBLY NOT SAID BY HIM THIS WAY, BUT STILL
ATTRIBUTED TO}

“Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.”

UNKNOWN - “One act of kindness won’t change the world, but it may...

SECRETS WITHIN DRUG-NAMES

There was a one-time group at the final “behavioural health” location {in 2015, most likely} which I recall as having an actual interesting/unique
topic … something that I did not expect to encounter there.

It was about how the names of certain drugs {in any field}
may seem to have a meaning in their commercial name.

Now, I cannot be sure of the titles used at that time, but I am certain
that the topic did not go into the direction which it did for me now.

Thus, focusing on just psych-toxins, I present my
ideas of meanings in certain drugs’ commercial names:

Effexor = “effective” substance/it makes you “effective”

Restoril = helps you “RESTOR"e normalcy from mental "IL"lness

Elavil = "elevate” the helpful emotions/“ELAV"ate the "IL"lness
{really-stretching there at the ends, but creative ideas are fun}

Prozac = this stuff uses a "PROfessional ACtion”

Abilify = you can increase...

I STILL HAVE PTS{d}

16th October, 2018: I read somewhere …

“While some say that returning to the scene of trauma can lessen the
mental stress of PTSD, frequent reminders of your experience can be
very damaging and make the condition even worse. Living a normal
life with PTSD is much easier if you try to distance yourself from regular contact with traumatic memories.”

Oh, well is not that big-time interesting?!?

Anybody in charge of a “behavioural health” place should have some
genuine-care and make sure it knows from its patients at the start if any
had traumatic experiences created by employees from places like it.

Now, I do not accept any labels from the lame DSM item … but for the
sake of this article and the very-real traumas where psychiatry is to blame,
I say that my “PTSD” was worse and worse from just being in a place where rotten memories could easily abound.

How would any-such place want to...
